By using Gypes, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Informational use

Calculators, converters, and articles are provided for general informational and educational purposes. They are not professional financial, legal, medical, tax, engineering, surveying, or other specialized advice.

Your responsibility

Verify important results with appropriate source material, official records, calibrated equipment, or a qualified professional. You are responsible for deciding whether a tool is suitable for your circumstances.

Accuracy and availability

We work to provide useful results but do not guarantee that every calculation, explanation, message, or service is complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free. The site may change or become unavailable without notice.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You may not disrupt its operation, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security controls, automate abusive traffic, misrepresent a result as professional certification, or reproduce substantial portions of its content without permission. Submit a page to the Media Link Detector only when you are authorized to inspect it, and do not use detected addresses to infringe copyright, evade access restrictions, or violate the source site’s terms.

Message-board submissions

Message-board posts are public. Do not submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, deceptive, infringing, privacy-invasive, malicious, promotional, or repetitive content, or another person’s sensitive information. You retain responsibility for what you submit and grant Gypes permission to store, display, format, moderate, hide, and delete it for operation of the board. Posts may be removed without notice, and publication or a response is not guaranteed.

BBS accounts and submissions

BBS usernames must follow the displayed registration rules and may not impersonate another person or the site. Keep the system-generated initial password and any replacement password confidential. You are responsible for activity through your account. BBS topics, replies, board proposals, votes, and published media attachments are public or publicly counted. Upload only images, GIFs, and videos you created or are authorized to publish, and do not upload unlawful, infringing, privacy-invasive, malicious, or sensitive material. You grant Gypes permission to store, display, format, moderate, hide, and delete submitted content and attachments as needed to operate and protect the BBS.

Automated safeguards and administrators may limit registrations, delay or block login attempts, restrict posting, mute or ban accounts, block network access, reject board proposals, and hide or delete content when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, unlawful content, or disruption. Board proposals reaching the published vote threshold may create a board automatically, but Gypes may later rename, merge, restrict, or remove a board for operational or moderation reasons.

GypesChat accounts and messages

GypesChat usernames must follow the displayed registration rules and may not impersonate another person, administrator, or the site. Keep generated and replacement passwords confidential; you are responsible for activity through your account. Add or invite only people you reasonably intend to contact. Do not send harassment, threats, spam, malware, unlawful or infringing material, another person’s private information, or media you are not authorized to share.

GypesChat conversations are access-controlled but are not end-to-end encrypted. You grant Gypes permission to store and deliver friend relationships, notes, group data, messages, images, GIFs, and videos as needed to operate, secure, and maintain the service. Automated safeguards may limit registration, login, requests, uploads, or messages. Access to a direct conversation requires a current friendship, and access to a group conversation requires active membership. Service data may be restricted or removed when reasonably necessary for security, abuse response, legal compliance, or operation.

Third-party services

The site may use or link to hosting, security, analytics, consent, or advertising services operated by third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gypes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses resulting from use of, reliance on, or inability to use the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version and changing the date above. A public contact channel is not currently available; any future method will be listed on the contact page.
