Split PDF

Extract selected pages into one document, create a separate PDF for each range, or save individual pages without uploading the source file.

Choose one PDF.

Choose exactly which PDF pages to keep

Enter individual pages with commas or use ascending ranges such as 2-6. Extract mode combines the listed pages into one new document in the order entered. Range mode uses semicolons to define separate output files, such as 1-3; 4-7; 9, 11. One-file-per-page mode creates an individual PDF for every source page and is capped at 100 files so a browser does not produce an unmanageable download set.

Copied pages preserve their PDF content

The bundled PDF component copies the selected page objects into new files rather than taking screenshots. Text, vector graphics, and embedded images can therefore remain intact. Features that depend on the original document structure—including bookmarks, document-level attachments, scripts, forms, page labels, cross-page links, encryption, and some metadata—may not carry over as expected.

Splitting invalidates signed-document assumptions

Changing the page structure creates new PDF files. Existing digital signatures should not be expected to remain valid, and this tool cannot certify document authenticity or completeness. Password-protected or unsupported PDFs may fail to open. Keep the original and compare page order, orientation, links, forms, and visual content before relying on an output.

The selected PDF and generated files stay in the current browser and are not intentionally uploaded to Gypes. Only split or redistribute documents when you have the necessary rights and permission, especially for legal, medical, employment, identity, or copyrighted records.
